High Achieving Mocs Living-Learning Community
The HAM LLC is a living-learning community associated with the Honors College at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga that brings together a group of roughly 34 over-achieving freshman. The LLC's goal is to provide a learning program designed around shaping individuals into well-rounded students, leaders, and individuals. The HAM members take part in two general education classes and an adapted version of the college's First Year Experience class. This group also participates in a variety of the academic experiences on campus as well as various off campus events.
Innovations in Honors
Innovations in Honors(IIH) is a program associated with the Honors College for sophomores and juniors as well as transfer students at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Through this program students work with faculty and members of the Chattanooga community in an attempt to solve "real-world problems" and to enhance the larger shared community. In this program, students are challenged to learn critical thinking, design thinking, applied creativity, and collaborative leadership skills.
